Only CBC, MCV had increased slightly
The lab results say normal range is 80-97. Mine was 97.2. I know that this is hardly anything, and I should probably not be affected, but I wonder what the reason be? I take a multivitamin (including all other B vitamins) and I do not drink much alcohol. Uncommon I go out and have a few drinks and probably twice a month. It seems like everywhere I look says vitamin B12 deficiency or alcoholism would be a cause. All my other values within the normal range. Any ideas?
An MCV of 97.2 is perfectly normal. If you repeat the test, the chances are that they made normal operation would be. If your hemoglobin and hematocrit were both normal, then there is nothing to be worried. Well, if it was repeated, and the MCV had risen, then a further workup would be indicated. Said reclamation would result in both vitamin B12 and folate levels, along with many other things.
