alcoholism behavior changes

What is the best way to find out whether your daughter, 8 years. old is bipolar? My mother is bipolar?
My daughter is at her wits' end with her oldest daughter. There is surely something wrong with her., Since I am bipolar and on her father's side, there was a suicide and alcoholism. Your HUSB. is not supported in their search for help with her daughter. So she goes to have their hands full. She hopes the school will help her help for her daughter. I would like not really go into detail, but there are many symptoms of bipolar, lots of bizarre behavior, extreme mood swings and an inability to concentrate, too, and the specific Thinking, problems, anger, extreme jealousy of her little sister (which, incidentally, is completely normal). It seems she is defiantly with her mother, but she can not to change one thought to another, so that the reaction of frustration and anger with her mother. They do not seem to have ADHD, but it can be a secondary problem. Suggestions would be very helpful for the mother. She hates and loves them all at the same time. There is no lack of love.
Deborah has just said, what's on my head. It is quite possible that she is bipolar, although the genetic predisposition is most direct between generations. She could not seem to have ADHD, but it is much a possibility. In addition to sharing features with bipolar disorder, a lot of people do not know that many people with severe ADHD often have difficulties developing appropriate social skills. Especially as a child, it is not uncommon for problems with other children and having tantrums. Either way, it's all manageable. It could be stressful for your daughter now, but at least something can be done.
