Adderall is no effect on the liver ... (Alcoholics)?
I am asking this for my father, he has an alcoholic for 25 years and has recently introduced been to Adderall by some employees. He thinks that because it helps him work through the night and he has to focus on ADD. I tried to tell him No doctor in their right mind, it will require this medication, with its history of alcoholism, because it is one of the main questions they ask, after going through the testing phase. I am not sure of his specific medical conditions, but with drinking excessivly for 25 + years, I am sure that his liver is shot .... He says he has a mini-stroke in an attempt to A few years back detoxification, has cancer cells in front of the neck, and he wakes up, STILL a shot of vodka in the bin. I am particularly looking for information on adderall / Alcohol / effect on the liver ... I know the basics of medicine, as I have been there for 2 years I do not (drink, just because my father). I am not Idiot and knows not to mix drugs / alcohol, but I need a way to make my father to "get it
Do you have any success in increasingly your father to "get it" about anything? I do not think so. People understand things if they do not necessarily when they need, and that's just something You can not control.
